How to make kids eat vegetables? Moms are the tricksters who are always looking to trick their kids into eating healthy. Try these kid-friendly tots that even grown-ups can’t resist.

Ingredients

  • Zucchini: 1 cup(grated and tightly packed)
  • Potato: 2 large
  • Dry herbs: 1 tsp
  • Rock salt: to sprinkle as seasoning
  • Pepper powder: for sesaoning

Method

  • Steam potatoes until soft. Peel and grate to get 1 cup of mashed potatoes.
  • Grate zucchini and squeeze out moisture completely.
  • Mix grated zucchini and mashed potatoes with dry herbs.
  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Shape them into tiny logs.

  • Place on baking sheet or greased baking tray.
  • Bake for 20 mins. Slightly cool and flip them over and bake for 20 mins.

Wellcure Tip

  • Adding salt to the potato and zucchini mix before baking makes it very difficult to shape the tots due to the water released by Zucchini; hence seasoning is done after baking is complete. However, you can choose to add salt before baking.
  • Try replacing the potato with sweet potato.
  • Try broccoli or carrot tots in place of Zucchini.
