Sprouted chana & beetroot kebab

Healthy snack recipe. 

Ingredients

  • Sprouted brown chana - 1/2 cup
     
  • Beetroot (raw and with skin) - 1 
     
  • Raw turmeric root (with skin) - 1
     
  • Curry leaves - 10 to 15 
     
  • Green chilli - 1 to 2 as per taste
     
  • Rock salt - as per taste
     
  • Amchur powder - 1/2 tablespoon
     
  • Spring onion (finely chopped- 1/2 cup 【optional】

Method

  • In the blender, add all the  ingredients, except amchur powder and spring onion.
  • Blend well without mixing any water. Water from beetroot would be sufficient to blend it. 
  • Now add amchur powder. You can add chopped spring onions optionally.
  • Make flat round kebabs and keep aside in a plate.
  • Take a seasoned dosa tawa and heat it. 
  • Once heated, cook the kebabs on both the sides very well. **Please don't cover while cooking.
  • Serve hot with green chutney and/or dip of your choice.
