Ribbon Pakoda

Ingredients
- 1 cup brown rice flour
- 1 cup gram flour
- 3/4 tsp pepper powder (coarse)
- 1 tbspcoconut butter
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida powder
- salt & water – as needed
Method
- Mix rice flour, gram flour, pepper powder, coconut butter, asafoetida and salt well.
- Add little water at a time and make a stiff dough.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C for 10 mins and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Fill the murukku press with the prepared dough, with the ribbon pakoda plate.
- Press the dough on the tray in a circular way to form a single layer. Just one layer to ensure even and quick cooking.
- Bake for 10-15 mins and flip once after about 6-7 mins.
- Store in an airtight container.
