Chukku Kaapi - healthy alternative to coffee!

This is a wonderful warm drink to shake one out of lethargy and bring about a feeling of warmth in the body. It is a traditional drink from South India which was very popular before coffee was introduced in India.
Wellcure Tip: Make the powders well in advance and store the kaapi mix in an airtight container.
Ingredients
- Dry Ginger Powder:1 tsp
- Coriander Seed Powder:1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seed Powder:1/2 tsp
- Pepper Powder:1/2 tsp
- Date Paste: 4 tbsp
- Water: 2 glasses
Method
- Take water in a saucepan and add all the spices along with date paste to it. Bring toboil.
- Boil for 4 minutes and your kappi is done.
- You may choose to strain or drink as is.
