Bored of eating raw veggies as salads or your kids give you tough time having veggies. Make them this delicious carrot and beetroot juice ! Yes, juicing veggies in various combinations is an easy and convenient way to add the goodness of raw veggies to your dietary intake. Try the combo of carrot and beetroot with greens like coriander and amla, spiced up with a little ginger juice!
Raw veggies are storehouses of vitamins and minerals and are loaded with fibre, water and enzymes. Amla beetroot carrot juice are undoubtedly a must add to your daily intake, in high amounts!
Ingredients
- Carrots: 2
- Beetroots: Half or one
- Coriander (dhaniya) leaves: a bunch
- Fresh gooseberry (amla): 2
- Ginger: a small piece (coin size)
- Water: for desired consistency
Method
- Clean, Peel and chop carrots and beetroots.
- Clean the coriander leaves and chop them into small pieces.
- Deseed, and chop gooseberry into small pieces.
- Peel the outer skin of ginger and chop it into small pieces.
- Mix all the above ingredients in a mixer and blend it nicely to smooth consistency.
- Use a strainer and filter the juice to remove any bumps.

- Veggies, are loaded with enzymes and high water content. They aid in digestion and act as daily dose of vitamins and minerals. Juicing raw vegetables is a tried and tested way to ensure your kids take in their share of raw (even the fussy ones!)
- Remember not to add any salt to vegetable juices, else it will ferment in your tummy!
