Vegetables can be cooked in different ways to make them taste different and gain more acceptability. This simple way of cooking it with other vegetables makes it a colourful flavourful way to make it.
Ingredients
- Cabbage: 1.5 cup (chopped)
- French beans: ¼ cup(chopped into cubes)
- Carrot: ¼ cup (chopped into cubes)
- Fresh coconut: ¼ cup (grated)
- Green chilli: 1 no(chopped)
- Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Rock salt: to taste
- Turmeric powder: ¼ tsp
Method
- Mix turmeric with the chopped vegetables and steam them. It would take about 10 minutes.
- In a bowl mix coriander leaves, chopped chilli, grated coconut, rock salt along with steamed vegetables while hot and keep covered for a while.
- Serve with meals or use as a filling in wraps.
