A chilled, dairy free, sugar free, burst of goodness in a bowl. Fruits are the best way to break your fast, first thing in the morning. Fruits are the most ideal foods to start the day with since they are easy to digest and very hydrating. This wholesome smoothie bowl made of frozen fruits will help you stick to fruits for breakfast.


Ingredients

  • Big Ripe bananas: 3 nos (peeled, sliced and frozen)
  • Sapodilla/chikoo: 2 nos
  • Pomegranate seeds: 2-3 tbsp
  • Mango: 1/3 cup (sliced) Or
  • Purple grapes: 1/3 cup

Method

  • Slice half a chikoo and keep aside for topping.
  • Place the remaining chikoo and slices of frozen bananas in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • In about two minutes you will have a luscious looking banana cream.
  • Pour it into a bowl and smooth the top with the back of a spoon.
  • Decorate the top with your favorite fruits -Mango slices, pomegranate seeds, chikoo slices.
  • Or drop a few purple grapes or any other colorful berries you can lay your hands on.
  • Experiment with other fruits too.

Wellcure Tip:

The recipe doesn’t use any sweetener but if you want to satisfy the sweet tooth you may blend some dates with the fruits.
